The Washington Post reports that 2011 was an "extraordinarily turbulent" year for the Earth’s climate system. In the US there were record breaking extremes, from tornados to droughts and all around the world we witnessed estreme weather. In some places there was heavy precipitation that caused deadly floods and in others there was an absence of rainfall that was the cause of serious droughts. As more scientific evidence accumulates it is becoming impossible to deny the reality of climate change. Here is a summary of the top four climate studies published in 2011:
